Thomas Harris joins The Realty Box team with more than four years of real estate experience. An Alabama native, Thomas and his wife resided with their two sons in the Metro Atlanta area for over two decades. In 2016, the couple decided to relocate to the Pensacola, Florida area to enjoy the warm climate of the Sunshine State.

His career began in the public safety sector in Alabama, where he worked as a firefighter/EMT. Ultimately, Thomas spent 25+ years committed to serving the community in various fire and EMS roles, initially in Alabama and later in Georgia. Ultimately, he retired from public safety in 2012 as a fire captain, paramedic, EMS instructor, and fire inspector; he held numerous other certifications and licensures and completed his B.S. in fire science.

Upon relocating to Pensacola, Thomas decided to pursue another career interest – real estate. His previous experience working around building construction as an inspector and investigator provided him with the knowledge base to assist clients as they navigate the nuances of real estate. Furthermore, he is able to help his clients better understand the industry jargon, including information surrounding construction types, general property conditions, and specific material used in construction of homes.

As a real estate agent, Thomas enjoys helping his clients buy or sell real estate. He has spent the last several years focusing on real estate opportunities in Milton, Pensacola, Cantonment, Gulf Breeze, and Navarre. Although he is not limited to these types of transactions, he would consider new construction, first time home buyers, and relocations as his areas of specialty. He is also a member of PAR and NAR.

Thomas believes it is of paramount importance to not only build relationships with individuals, but also educate them on the process of buying or selling real estate. He wants his clients to have a clear understanding of what to expect on the journey to purchase or sell a home or property. Moreover, it is Thomas’ personal goal to exemplify integrity, ethics, and morality in everything he does, as was exemplified during his public safety career.
