Born and raised in Chicago, Lori Smith then spent 30 years in the Tampa Bay area. A job transfer with her employer led her to the Gulf Coast in 2014.
After several years, Lori was ready to make a change with her career. She explored different paths and consulted with friends and family to see what not only brought them success, but also enjoyment. Several family members mentioned how fulfilling the real estate industry was – from helping others find their dream home or selling their current house as they prepare for the next home. Lori decided this would be a great fit for her and joined The Realty Box.
Lori is very passionate about guiding her clients and being a resource of knowledge as they navigate their goals for selling or buying. Although Lori’s approach includes being honest and heartfelt, she encourages her clients not to make an emotional decision when selling, as they may have regrets later. Rather, she tells each of her clients to take time to make their decision and do so with their heads not their hearts. Furthermore when interacting with potential buyers, she tells her clients to make sure they can solidly afford their home and if they can, make sure they love the house they choose.
She spends her free time with her family, attending church, fishing, participating in Crossfit, camping, and maybe a little shopping, too.
